Two people were arrested in Pikeville after officers found them sitting in a car smoking illegal drugs with two children in the car.
Police were approaching the car and reported smelling marijuana coming from the car.
Police asked the driver, Robert McDonnell, to step out of the car and failed He failed a field sobriety test.
Police discovered that Sandra Davis had also reportedly been smoking marijuana and was arrested for a variety of charges.
Both McDonnell and Davis face reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a minor charges.
