An Inez man, William Preece, was arrested for vandalism and spray painting the word “love” on the wall of a motel and a car.
He was taken to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville where he allegedly attempted to kick the window out of the police car, struggled with police as they attempted to take him into the jail, and finally head-butting one of the state troopers.
He was then also charged with third-degree assault of a police officer, a felony punishable by 1-to-5 years in prison.
