The 5th Annual Power Up the Pantry is Thursday, September 26.
The annual event helps lessen food insecurity in the area and will add to the food pantries, God’s Pantry Food Bank and the Facing Hunger Food Bank.
On the 26th, there will be several locations where you can donate non-expired, non-perishable foods, or monetary donations to Walmart stores in Pikeville, Cannonsburg, and Hazard, and in Ashland at Broadways Square.
The donations will be taken to local food pantries for distribution.
