The Kentucky Wildcats Men’s Basketball Team overcome another double-digit deficit to beat the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday (74-71), completing the regular season sweep of the Vols. Collin Chandler hit the go-ahead three-pointer with :33 left to put UK up for good.
Otega Oweh led the way once again with 21 points on 10-17 shooting. Denzel Aberdeen finished with 16 points on 5-11 shooting. Malachi Moreno had 10 points and 5 rebounds. Collin Chandler finished with 9 points and two steals. UK also welcomed back the 1996 national championship team for its 30th year anniversary and sported the classic Kentucky denim jerseys.
UK improved to 17-7 overall and 8-3 in the SEC. They return to action on Saturday, visiting Florida in Gainesville. Tipoff is set for 3 PM. Join Tom Leach along with UK Coach Mark Pope Tonight at 6 PM on WSIP.
