Good news for Big Sandy Community and Technical College, which is reporting higher enrollment.
During the recent board of director’s meeting, College president Dr. Todd Brand said that seven out of the 16 KCTCS colleges have enrollment that is declining, but BSCTC is not one of them.
He then stated that BSCTC is among the top five in the state in enrollment growth, with a current enrollment of 2,184 students.
That’s 93 students past their stated goal and a 6.5 percent increase from this time last year.
