A man and woman, one from Johnson County, the other from Floyd County, are in trouble for allegations of trafficking in methamphetamine.
Prestonsburg Police responded to a DUI complaint on Tuesday on North Lake Drive.
An officer pulled over the car and identified the driver as Robert L. Powers, of Sitka; The passenger, Hillary Cline, of Prestonsburg.
The officer noted that Powers could not provide a drivers license or proof of insurance on the car.
As he asked both to get out of the car, he noticed a baggie contaning a white substance.
The search also turned up methedone pills and other drug paraphernalia.
Both were jailed on variois traffic and drug charges.
