Two Magoffin County men arrested by the Sheriff’s Office in a drug bust last month are now facing federal charges.
A federal grand jury has indicted Eddie McFarland of Lakeville and Anthony Saylor of Salyersville for conspiracy to distribute controlled substances.
McFarland is also charged with using a gun in a drug trafficking crime.
The men were arrested after an investigation by the Magoffin County Sheriff’s Office which included undercover officers doing drug deals, and then a search of McFarland’s home allegedly turned up meth, fentanyl and heroin, and some guns.
