Three people are hurt – one critically – after a driver lost control and careened into the Prestonsburg Senior Citizens Center.
Prestonsburg Police say a 79-year-old woman was backing out of a parking spot when she suddenly accelerated, hitting an 80-year-old woman and then two cars before slamming into the building and hitting a bench where two men were sitting.
The woman who was hit was flown to Pikeville Medical Center and was in critical condition.
The two men have moderate injuries.
The driver has minor injuries.
The building was being checked out for structural integrity.
