West Liberty Woman Dies Following U.S. 460 Crash

A West Liberty woman has died following a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon on U.S. 460.

Kentucky State Police say the collision happened around 3 p.m. near the West Liberty Veterinary Clinic.

Investigators say a 2019 Chevrolet rollback truck was traveling on U.S. 460 and moved into the passing lane as a vehicle ahead slowed to turn onto Veterinarian Lane.

Police say a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by 66-year-old Linda Sue Bush of West Liberty, was exiting Veterinarian Lane when it was struck by the rollback.

Bush was taken to ARH Hospital in West Liberty and later flown to Cabell Huntington Hospital, where she died from her injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
