JENKINS, Ky. (WSIP) – A local company has secured an option to purchase land in Letcher County to build artificial intelligence data centers.
Diversified Energy is evaluating construction of a 100-megawatt natural gas-fired power plant to power a future AI data center at the Gateway Regional Business Park in Jenkins.
Officials say no data center has committed to the site.
