Due to main line maintenance, although no contamination has been confirmed, Paintsville Utilities has voluntarily issued a boil water advisory for the following areas:
Starting at the mouth of Happy Hollow in the Van Lear area all the way to the end of the line.
This advisory is being issued as a precautionary measure and is in effect until further notice.
