Dr. Michael McKinney, who is charged with eight counts of complicity to tamper with physical evidence in the murder of Amber Spradlin, has filed a motion asking the judge for permission to return to work.
McKinney posted a $250,000 bond to be released from jail, but he remains under house arrest.
The Kentucky Board of Dentistry has suspended McKinney’s dental license, but that just covers his ability to see patients.
He is still able to work on general business matters in the office.
