Floyd County sheriff’s deputies were sent to the home of 25-year-old Jacob Estep to serve an arrest warrant.
Estep was seen running into the home’s basement where officers cornered him.
Estep resisted arrest and allegedly hit a deputy and K-9 officer, Bear, who then bit Estep’s arm and Estep was tazed twice.
In addition to the warrant, Estep faces charges of assaulting a police officer, assaulting a service animal, and fleeing from police.
