The Johnson Central Golden Eagles took part in the Smoky Mountains Winter Classic this week in Gatlinburg, TN and made a Very Impressive Showing, Winning their First Two Games over Young Americans Christian ,(Georgia) and Douglas, (Alabama).
They made it to the Championship Game of the Yellow Bracket Today, but would fall to a Very Good Memphis University, TN (80-43).
The loss snapped their 6 game Winning Streak, but they still made a strong showing in this Tournament, that will have teams around the 15th Region take Notice. JCHS stands at 6-3 overall on the season.
The Golden Eagles will return to action on Tuesday, January 2 vs. the Fairview Eagles. Tip-off is set for 7:30 PM and available on WSIP and www.wsipfm.com
