Governor Andy Beshear visited Floyd County on Monday to cut the ribbon on two new homes at the New Hope Estates high-ground neighborhood in Prestonsburg.
Both houses will go to Kentuckians who lost their homes in the floods of 2022.
New Hope Estates will eventually be the site of 34 homes, with priority given to flood survivors.
