Attorney General Russell Coleman is launching a $15 million grant campaign to provide all Kentucky law enforcement officers with bulletproof vests.
Lex18 reported Coleman stated that 20 percent of officers in the field do not have body armor or have expired body armor.
The life expectancy of a vest is five years.
