Amanda Hill was arrested last week by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department and charged with child endangerment.
A child texted her grandmother to tell her that she and her sister were scared because of a man who was at the residence.
The man had an active protective order against him.
After investigating the call, the deputy talked with Hill who said she didn’t know what the deputy was talking about and gave permission to search the residence.
According to the Herald, the deputy found the residence covered in dog feces and busted glass, food on the counter and in the floor with mold growing on the food, and filth.
Hill was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.
