The Kentucky Wildcats Baseball Team, fresh of their 1st Win in the College World Series, left their Bats at home Monday Night, dropping a 5-1 contest versus the Texas A & M. The Aggies pitched a great game and had a no hitter going into the 7th inning, but Kentucky’s Offense could not get going at all gathering only 4 hits and one run in the game, a solo Homerun in the 9th by Ryan Nicholson. Texas A&M ended up with 14 hits and scored all 5 of their runs in the 6th inning.
The Kentucky Wildcats drop to 1-1 in the double elimination MCWS and with the loss, they slide into the Losers Bracket where they will face SEC foe, the Florida Gators in an elimination game, scheduled for Tonight. Game time for Florida and Kentucky is set at 7:00 PM EST and the game will air Live on ESPN (Weather Permitting). Kentucky must win to keep playing. A loss ends the season.
