The KHSAA held their 2024 Class of the Dawahares/KHSAA Hall of Fame last night in Lexingrton. Sheldon Clark’s Ms. Basketball Ida Bowen and Paintsville’s All-State Guard Todd Tackett were both inducted last night.
** Bowen totaled more than 2,700 points and 300 rebounds over her career. She was Sheldon Clark’s only Kentucky Miss Basketball award winner in her 1990-91 senior season. Bowen went on to play four years at Western Kentucky University, where she helped guide the Lady Toppers to an NCAA Division I national runner-up finish as a freshman.

** Tackett was a 1998 graduate of Paintsville, who helped lead Paintsville to the school’s first-ever state title as a sophomore. Tackett collected 2,082 points and 601 assists in his career as well as a 15th Region title in each of his four seasons.
