The Johnson Central Lady Eagles defeated the Visiting Shelby Valley Lady Cats Tuesday night 62-39 in 15th Region Girls Basketball from Paul R. Setser Eagle Fieldhouse.
Sr. Taylor McKenzie had a Great Night Offensively, hitting 5 – 3pt FG to pace the Lady Eagles with 23 pts. 8th grader Karlea Stanley also scored in double figures with 13 pts. Kaylin McKenzie scored 9 pts on 3 – 3pt FGs, Hayley Marsisillett with 6 pts, Sophie Younce with 4 pts, while Maddie Prater, Abbie Stambaugh and Addyson Burchett each score 2 pts each and Allie Slone scored 1 point.
The Win improves the Lady Eagles overall record to 17-1 on the season. Next up, the Lady Eagles will host Letcher Co Central on Saturday, Jan 27 @ 3:30 PM.
