There was a social media post Tuesday just before 4 p.m. about a threat to the Paintsville Independent schools. A statement from Superintendent David Gibson said that quick action by law enforcement led to the identity of the minors involved in posting the threat. The superintendent added, “the safety of our schools is the most critical priority for our district and the collaborative effort put forth by multiple agencies to protect our school community is reassuring and inspiring.”
