Robbie Fletcher Selected as State’s Next Education Commissioner

The superintendent of Lawrence County Schools, Robbie Fletcher, has been selected to be the state’s next education commissioner. 

Fletcher, who has served as the superintendent of Lawrence County since 2014, will become head of the Kentucky Department of Education on July 1^st pending confirmation by the Kentucky Senate. 

He replaces Jason Glass who announced in August 2023 he was resigning the job.
