Drivers who use the Mountain Parkway between Stanton and Slade in Powell County should prepare for a brief road closure on Sunday morning, June 30.
In order to allow for repairs to be made to an overhead cable, rolling roadblocks will be in effect between 8 and 9 a.m. between milepoints 24 and 25.
Law enforcement personnel will be on site to assist with traffic control. Signs will be in place to alert drivers of the closure.
The exact location of the work is just west of the KY 11/KY 15 overpass near Rosslyn.
Drivers may wish to detour between Exit 22 at Stanton and Exit 33 at Slade via KY 213 and KY 11/KY 15.
