After a breakout game against then No. 13 Alabama on Saturday, Kentucky men’s basketball freshman guard Justin Edwards has been named the Southeastern Conference’s Co-Freshman of the Week. Edwards is the fifth Wildcat to receive the weekly honor this season, joining D.J. Wagner (three times), Reed Sheppard (twice), Rob Dillingham and Aaron Bradshaw who have all won in previous weeks.
The Kentucky Wildcats Men’s Basketball, fresh off a 22 point victory over Alabama on Sat (117-95), will be back in action Tonight, as they travel to Starkville, Mississippi for a meeting with the Mississippi State Bulldogs. The Wildcats 19-8 on the season and 9-5 in SEC play. Mississippi State is also 19-8 overall, but 8-6 in SEC play. Game time is at 7:00 PM with pre-game at 5:30 PM, but due to High School Basketball coverage, Tonight’s UK game can be heard LIVE on 99.3 FM WKYH in Paintsville.
