The number of first time filings for unemployment are increasing across Kentucky.
That’s according to the U.S. Department of Labor, which says for the week ending February 7th, there were just over three-thousand first time filings in the state, which is about 850 more filings than the week prior.
Nationally, there was a decrease in the number of initial filings for the week.
