A West Van Lear man, William Blevins, has been arrested on several charges, including DUI, after he was stopped on his riding lawn mower.
Police were responding to a call about a man flipping motorists off and possibly under the influence on Depot Road.
At first, it alleged that when approached by law enforcement, he refused to stop; and when he did stop, a trooper said Blevins lunged towards him with a balled-up fist and made threats while being arrested.
Blevins was transported to the Paintsville hospital and now faces several charges related to the incident.
