The Floyd County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man after he was caught with stolen telephone lines.
Deputies found a truck parked on the side of Rt-80 with a bed full of cut cable.
Seventy-five-year-old Gary Conley was arrested for the theft of the cable.
AT&T workers told deputies that they had just replaced the line 20 minutes before.
Conley allegedly had cut it again, causing a service outage to 20 homes and businesses.
Conley is expected to appear in court tomorrow.
