Update: Argument over four-wheeler is what led to Wolfe County Shooting

An argument over a four-wheeler appears to be the beginning of a shooting incident in Wolfe County that led to five school districts either in lockdown or with heightened security.

WKYT reports four shots were fired with two shots hitting the victim who was flown to a Lexington hospital.

After an 18-hour manhunt, police arrested the alleged gunman, Pedro Torices, who is charged with assault, unlawful imprisonment, and terroristic threatening.

The victim’s condition is not known.
